Israber recently completed a custom oak Aron Kodesh in a Sephardic synagogue located at 13 Sol Blo St., Rishon LeZion. What started with a routine visit turned into a story of precision craftsmanship, community renewal, and professional recognition.

When the head of Israber visited the Sephardic synagogue at the invitation of the local community, he immediately noticed the aging interior and the need for renewal. The synagogue, approximately 30–40 years old, had not undergone any significant renovations in decades. The Aron Kodesh, central to synagogue life, was especially in need of replacement.

Rabbi Gorin, the synagogue’s spiritual leader, explained that a new Aron Kodesh had long been desired. Fortunately, the community already had a design—created by a professional designer from Tel Aviv. The project was intricate, with detailed drawings and high expectations.

The team at Israber accepted the challenge. Using solid oak and advanced carpentry methods, they built the Aron Kodesh exactly according to the designer’s specifications. The outcome was so faithful to the original plan that the designer, amazed, expressed a desire to travel from Tel Aviv to see it in person—saying it was the first time anyone had implemented his work so precisely.

The new Aron Kodesh now adorns the synagogue’s main wall, radiating elegance and strength. Its presence has reinvigorated the space, bringing joy and pride to the community. Israber is honored to have contributed to the renewal of this sacred place.
