Crafted for Prayer: Inside the New Lubavitch Synagogue in Rishon LeZion

The Rebbe – Lubavitch Synagogue in Rishon LeZion represents more than a construction project — it’s a story of faith, beauty, and devotion.
From the early sketches to the final installation, Israber was entrusted with the complete design and production of every furniture piece inside the synagogue.
The Aron Kodesh, hand-carved from solid wood, stands as the centerpiece — both spiritual and visual.
Its balanced geometry and fine detailing reflect the dignity of the Torah it holds.
Next to it, the Bimah was designed to combine stability and harmony, allowing comfort during reading and prayer.
Special attention was given to the Rabbi’s Chair (Kisay LeRav) — made of premium oak, with soft upholstered textures and classic proportions.
Each bench was designed to support posture and flow, allowing the community to focus fully on prayer and study.
Warm tones, natural wood, and soft lighting create an atmosphere of peace and presence.
One of the most striking spaces is the Sephardic floor, recently completed — an elegant hall designed in a luxurious oriental style.
Delicate carvings, gold details, and handmade lighting fixtures highlight the fusion of sacred warmth and refined aesthetics.
Every element was produced in Israber’s workshop in Israel, crafted by artisans with years of expertise.
Each connection, polish, and finish was checked meticulously to ensure both durability and spiritual integrity.
In the end, this synagogue became not only a house of prayer but also a house of craftsmanship —
a space where wood speaks the language of devotion, and every line honors the beauty of tradition.
