Chabad House of Kiryat Arba–Hebron

Kiryat Arba, Israel
Project Completion Date -
October 9, 2025
The Chabad House of Kiryat Arba completed a renewal of its prayer hall in coordination with the synagogue committee.

History of the Synagogue

The previous furniture in the prayer hall was worn and no longer suitable for the community’s needs and the structure of daily prayer. A decision was made to renew the hall while maintaining the familiar character and tradition of the Chabad House of Kiryat Arba, with attention to the dignity of the space. As part of the renewal, new sofas, an Amud Chazan, tables, and chairs were produced from beech wood in a dark tone with calm turquoise upholstery. The work was carried out in full coordination with Rabbi Rafael Brod and the synagogue committee, from the selection of materials to fitting the dimensions to the existing layout. The goal of the renewal was to provide an orderly and comfortable seating arrangement suitable for prayer, study, and community life, with care for the sanctity and purpose of the place.
