Many of the worshippers have known each other for many years. A large part of the life of the synagogue has been supported by the gabbaim who served here: Gabbai Maksimov, Gabbai Uriel Molkandov, Ribi Molkandov, Haim Molkandov, and for the past 10 years the synagogue has been led by Gabbai Yossi Niazov, who manages the place with great dedication. He opens the synagogue early in the morning, takes care of the order, organizes the prayers, and does everything possible to keep the synagogue a living center for the community.
Recently an important event took place here. A new Ark of the Covenant — the place where the Torah scrolls are kept — was installed in the synagogue.
For us, the company Israber, it was a great honor to take part in this project. The new ark is made of natural wood in a classic style, with columns, a crown above the arch, and soft lighting that highlights the central place of the Torah scrolls in the prayer hall.
When the doors of the ark are opened and the Torah scrolls are taken out, the entire space fills with a special sense of respect and tradition. In moments like these you can feel the connection between generations and the strength of Jewish tradition.
We thank the community for their trust and are happy that the work of Israber has become part of the story of a synagogue that has been alive and active for more than eighty years. ✡️
