From the very first sketch to the final finishing touches, every detail of the project was guided by a clear vision: to create a place of worship that inspires reflection, unity, and a sense of elevation.
Israber was entrusted with the complete planning of the synagogue’s furnishings — design, production, and installation — a full journey combining craftsmanship and faith.
Throughout the process, the team worked in close collaboration with the synagogue leadership, architects, and members of the community to ensure that every element would reflect both functionality and soul.
The Heart of the Sanctuary
At the center of the hall stands the Ark (Aron Kodesh), a masterpiece crafted from solid beech wood, entirely designed and hand-carved with meticulous care.
Every curve, ornament, and brass inlay was created with reverence, echoing the sanctity that the Torah represents.
The bimah, positioned centrally, embodies balance and elegance. It is designed to serve daily prayers and Torah readings while projecting a timeless presence.
The rabbi’s chair was designed in classic lines that express both leadership and humility.
It is made of solid oak with high-quality upholstery, symbolizing comfort and durability — a tangible expression of the Torah’s guiding presence in community life.
Seating & Interior Harmony
Throughout the sanctuary, benches were custom-designed to fit the exact dimensions of the space.
Each bench provides ergonomic support while maintaining elegance and visual flow, allowing worshippers to focus in comfort and tranquility.
The refined finishes and warm tones of the wood create a sense of order, warmth, and spiritual calm.
The Second Floor – Sephardic Section
One of the highlights of the project is the second floor, dedicated to the Sephardic community.
Its design follows a refined and luxurious line inspired by classical Middle Eastern art — delicate carvings, golden details, and warm lighting that creates an inviting and noble atmosphere.
Craftsmanship & Process
The creation process combined modern technology with traditional handcrafting, aiming to preserve precision while maintaining a soulful touch.
All furniture pieces were built in Israber’s workshops in Israel by experienced artisans who have dedicated many years to mastering their craft.
Every joint, carving, and finish underwent strict quality control to ensure long-term durability and a sense of perfection in every detail.
More Than a Synagogue
This synagogue is not just a place of prayer — it is a living example of how design can express faith and respect.
From the smallest detail to the grand Ark, every element was created to align with the spiritual rhythm of the community.
For Israber, the project in Rishon LeZion represents far more than another successful installation.
It is a collaboration with a vibrant community, a contribution to the beauty of Jewish tradition, and a testament to the enduring value of handcrafted work created with dedication and faith.
