The new Chabad synagogue in Rishon LeZion stands as a symbol of harmony between sacred purpose, architectural precision, and handcrafted beauty.
From the first sketch to the final polish, every element of this project was guided by the vision to create a spiritual space that inspires prayer, reflection, and unity.
Israber was entrusted with the complete furniture concept, design, production, and installation — a full journey of craftsmanship and faith.
Working closely with the synagogue’s leadership, architects, and community members, our team ensured that each component would reflect both functionality and soul.
At the heart of the sanctuary stands the Aron Kodesh, a masterpiece of solid beech wood, designed and carved entirely by hand.
Every curve, ornament, and brass inlay was crafted with reverence, echoing the holiness of the Torah it holds.
The Bimah, positioned at the center, combines balance and dignity — built to serve daily prayer and readings, yet radiating presence and timeless grace.
The Rabbi’s Chair (Kisay LeRav) was designed in classical lines to express both leadership and humility.
Made of solid oak with refined upholstery, it represents comfort and endurance, symbolizing the guiding presence of Torah within the community.
Throughout the hall, rows of benches were meticulously measured and tailored to the proportions of the space.
Each bench was made to provide ergonomic support while maintaining elegance and flow, allowing worshippers to focus in serenity and ease.
The fine finish and gentle tones of the wood bring warmth and order to the prayer environment.
One of the highlights of this project is the second floor, dedicated to the Sephardic congregation.
This level was designed in a luxurious and refined style, drawing inspiration from classical Middle Eastern art — subtle carvings, light gold details, and handcrafted lighting fixtures that softly illuminate the space.
The interplay of warm wood and geometric purity creates an atmosphere that is both noble and inviting.
The creation process combined modern technology with traditional craftsmanship.
All furniture pieces were produced in Israber’s workshops in Israel, where experienced artisans applied years of expertise to ensure precision and perfection.
Every joint, finish, and coating underwent thorough quality control to guarantee durability and long-term strength.
This synagogue is not only a place of prayer — it is a living example of how design can express faith and respect.
Each element, from the smallest drawer handle to the grand Aron Kodesh, was designed to support the sacred rhythm of the community’s life.
For Israber, the Rishon LeZion project represents more than another successful installation.
It is a partnership with a vibrant community, a contribution to the beauty of Jewish life, and a testimony to the enduring value of craftsmanship made with devotion.
